CueForge2 is a professional show-control application for macOS. It plays and manages cues for live performance — audio, video, images, lighting (DMX), MIDI, timecode, serial hardware, and network commands — all from a single ordered cue list that you advance by pressing GO.
This manual walks through every feature from basic cue playback to multi-machine redundancy.
#How a show works
A show is a list of cues. Each cue does one thing: play a sound, show a video, send a lighting scene, wait, or fire a command. You arm the next cue and press GO (the space bar) to fire it. Cues can also fire automatically after one another, on a timer, on incoming timecode, or at a set time of day.
#The main window
- The large central table is your cue list.
- The header bar at the top shows the master volume knob and a peak meter.
- The transport bar at the bottom has GO, Pause, Stop, Previous, Next, and PANIC.
- The clocks bar shows elapsed time, remaining time, and the current timecode.
- The inspector panel at the bottom edits the selected cue's settings across five tabs.
