WE ARE PUTTING IN THE FINISHING TOUCHES CUEFORGE2 SHOW CONTROL — COMING SOON

Manual

Licensing

CueForge2 uses a yearly subscription tied to your account at cueforge.show. Your licence covers several Macs — sign in on each one and install it.

#Sign in and activate

  1. Choose Help ▸ Account & License.
  2. Enter the email address you subscribed with, and your password. No account yet? Click Create an account — registration happens at cueforge.show.
  3. Click Use License on This Mac.

Forgotten your password, or never set one? Click "Forgot password?" and open the link we email you. It opens cueforge.show, where you choose a new password, then you sign in here with it.

That Mac is now licensed. You can sign out afterwards and it stays licensed, so a visiting operator can install the licence using the venue account without leaving themselves signed in.

#Running offline

Once a Mac is activated, CueForge2 never needs the internet to run. The licence is stored on the machine and checked locally at launch, so a rig with no network still starts normally. When the Mac is online, CueForge2 quietly checks in — that is how a renewal reaches it, with nothing for you to re-enter.

#Seats and moving between Macs

The License window lists every Mac using your licence, with the date each last ran CueForge2. To move your licence:

  • On the Mac you are leaving, click Deactivate This Mac.
  • If that Mac has been replaced, sold, or is simply not to hand, sign in on any other Mac and click Free Seat next to it in the list. You can also do this at cueforge.show/account.

A freed seat is available immediately.

#Renewing and billing

Manage your subscription, payment card, and invoices at cueforge.show/account. When a renewal goes through, the new expiry reaches your Macs the next time each one is online — you do not need to re-activate.

#Updates

CueForge2 checks for updates automatically and prompts to install them. Updates are included in an active subscription.

#Older licence keys

Licences bought before accounts existed still work. Most have already been moved onto an account under the email they were bought with — so try "Forgot password?" with that address first, set a password, and your licence will be waiting.

If it isn't, open Help ▸ Account & License, click "Have an older licence key?" and paste the key. Link it to an account at cueforge.show/account when convenient — after that you sign in like everyone else.

If activation fails, check that the Mac is online and that you are using the email address you subscribed with. Support: jesseradatti@gmail.com
