Getting Started
#Create a show
- Choose File ▸ New Show (⌘N) to start with an empty cue list.
- Drag an audio or video file onto the cue list, or use the + button to add a cue.
- Select the cue and press GO (space bar) to fire it.
- Choose File ▸ Save (⌘S) and pick a location. Shows save as a .cueforge bundle.
#Add cues quickly
- Drag audio, video, or image files onto the list — one cue is created per file.
- Right-click the list or use the Add menu to insert any cue type.
- New cues are inserted after the current selection.
- Duplicate a cue with ⌘D.
#Run the show
- The armed cue (shown with the playhead indicator) is the one GO will fire next.
- Press the space bar or click GO to fire the armed cue; the playhead advances automatically.
- Use Pause / Stop on the transport bar for individual cue control.
- PANIC (or Escape) fades everything out over a few seconds; press it again for an immediate hard stop.
#Basic cue types to know first
- Audio — plays a sound file.
- Video — plays a video to a screen or projector.
- Wait — pauses the cue chain for a set time.
- Fade — fades another cue's volume or video opacity up or down.
- Stop — stops another cue (use Reset to stop everything).
- Group — contains other cues that fire in sequence.
