Status Window
The Status window (Tools ▸ Status…, ⇧⌘L) is the show's health check and event record in one place. It has two tabs: Warnings and Logs.
#Warnings tab
A live scan of every cue on every list for problems that would break the show:
- Missing media — audio, video, or image files that can no longer be found on disk, including individual playlist tracks.
- Control cues without a target — Stop, Fade, Devamp, Start, Load, and Arm/Disarm cues that haven't been pointed at a cue yet.
- Unrouted audio — audio, playlist, and mic cues with no output sends, or whose routed output channels have no device connected.
- Empty payloads — Network cues with no address, Serial cues with no device path, HTTP cues with no URL, Script cues with no code.
The tab header shows the current warning count. A clean show reads "No warnings".
#Logs tab
A chronological, show-wide record of everything that happened: cue events (GO, FIRE, STOP, PAUSE, DONE…), engine alerts, and every external input CueForge received.
Filter chips across the top narrow the stream by category — All is the default:
- Cues — cue firing and transport events.
- MIDI — incoming MIDI triggers (Note / CC / Program Change) and MTC timecode fires.
- OSC — every OSC message received, with its address and arguments. Use this to confirm a console or remote is actually reaching CueForge.
- DMX — DMX-triggered GO / Pause / Stop and per-cue channel triggers.
- Alerts — the same warnings that flash in the transient error banner, kept for review.
The free-text field filters within the selected category. Copy All copies the visible entries, Export CSV… saves the full log, and Clear Log empties it.
